Absolutely not. Roads in the US may need some asphalt but they are carefully planned. You won't find a bridge that's so low trucks won't pass under them. And if you do, there are signs that prevent this kind of situation.
Roads in Europe are generally prettier, though. I would agree on that. It's not like I want to aggrandize US roads. They do not deserve that, especially the quality. I just want to give credit to them for their planning because it is great.
