| That's frigin amazing, I'm surprised it's not shorting it out. But as it may look cool and run smoothly, what about customization? To take this thing apart, you'd just dump out the oil and replenish it with fresh oil or just remove it from the exisiting oil? Do you have to change the oil every so often? |

| So, what happens when the oil actually heats up? Yes, for a short burst, it'd work great... but oil takes friggin forever to cool down. What do they plan to do if they're going to run the rig for several hours? The thermal efficiency of the whole system would go to crap, and they'd be stuck waiting a couple hours to allow the whole thing to cool off enough to fire it back up. I'll just stick with air cooling for now... a lot less messy. Cool idea though, gotta give 'em props for that. |
