Living Doll is a popular song by Cliff Richard and the Shadows.
Written by Lionel Bart it was originally recorded in 1959 by Cliff Richard and the Drifters and produced by Norrie Paramor. It peaked at #1 on the UK singles chart for six weeks from July 1959, selling over a million copies in the process. The song won Bart an Ivor Novello Award for best song. The song was Richard's first US hit single reaching #30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I've been on an online shopping spree since I "found" Cliff on YT this past year, and "On the Beach" (in Portugal - Albufeira's 500th birthday celebration) is one of the DVDs I bought. So fun to watch... gives me a glimpse into Cliff's life... He's so lovable!

Walked out into The Mall in London in 2002 for the Queen's Golden Jubilee "Party in the Park" concert.... Cliff was singing "Living Doll". It was great to hear in full volume with over a million people singing.
I am from Birmingham,England and when this song came out my boyfriend changed the words from Living Doll to "Brummie" Doll.
